There are two main types of hair and scalp disease, infectious and non-infectious. Infectious diseases are infectious diseases transmitted from people to people. The most common examples of them are: impetigo, lice, ringworm, scabies, warts and so on.

The severity of these infections and the risk to the surrounding people can differ greatly. It is therefore most important to be aware of the symptoms, identify the cause, and start the appropriate treatment as soon as possible. For this purpose let's look at some of the common infections of the scalp and hair.

Impetigo . This is the most common, highly infectious disease among children. The cause is bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus / pyogenes) invading through a cut or damaged scalp. Impetigo is characterized by large wet crystals that typically form a dry and yellow hull.

scabies . Scabies is a skin infection of ectoparasites, which is caused by ticks of small animals wearing the scalp and laying eggs there. It is characterized by itching, red spots and scalp holes.

wart . Warts are not raised masses normally found in hands and feet, but they can also occur on the scalp. The cause of this infection is human papilloma virus (HPV), spreading by direct contact with the infected person.

Ringworm . It is also known as ringworm (Tinea capitis). It is a scalp disease with strong infectivity, a pink patch is characteristic, and gradually grows in a round area with damaged hair. The cause of this infection is a bacterium that spreads directly or indirectly with combs, brushes, clothes, towels, etc.

Head lice . This is a highly infectious disease caused by parasites (head-stroked) with little wings that spend their lives on the scalp, lay eggs, and reproduce and breathe human blood. This infection is very common in children.

Folliculitis . Folla infection is an infectious infection of hair follicles caused by bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus) invading the scalp by pruritus or direct contact with infected persons.

These are common infectious diseases and are the condition of the scalp and hair. If you suspect one of these diseases, you must see a doctor immediately from either doctor
