The applicant, Civic surgeon The patient will undergo physical examinations, chest radiographs, blood tests. The medical care and storage history of the applicant will also be reviewed. Children under 15 years of age can not undergo X-ray or blood tests.
If the applicant is pregnant, it depends on the country of applicant's nationality, but there is no need to undergo X-ray examination. Different consulates in the United States follow different rules and regulations concerning this.
What is included in the physical part of health examination?
Physical examination includes the following:
Eye
Ear, nose, throat,
heart
Lungs,
Abdomen
Lymph nodes,
External genitalia and skin conditions.
Apart from this, the applicant will be given pending storage based on the list of required vaccinations according to the list of USCIS. Immunization includes the following:
Hepatitis A
Hepatitis B
Influenza
Influenza type B (HiB)
Measles
Meningococcus
Mumps
S. pneumoniae
Whooping cough
Polio
Rotavirus
Rubella
Tetanus and diphtheria
Chickenpox.
What sort of diseases and conditions are not applicable?
Please be aware that health checkup is not a complete health checkup. Therefore, even if you go to see a doctor in cold or heart disease, the green card will be rejected. Civil Surgeon will review applicants only for conditions related to immigration procedures.
What are the medical conditions that can be applied so that it can not apply to the United States?
In connection with sections 212 (a) and 221 (d), there are medical conditions that prevent applicants from passing the United States under the Immigration and Nationality Act or INA. They are:
Publicly important infectious diseases. A list of this is found in the Federal Regulations Code 42 CFR Section 34.2. The main diseases of the list are tuberculosis, venereal disease and leprosy. AIDS and HIV were once on the list, but that is no longer the case.
A physical or mental disorder or condition found to be a threat for public health, property, welfare, and public safety of other people applied.
Drug abuse or obsessive addiction.
How long is the medical examination done by the applicant valid?
The result of the test is valid for up to one year before the corresponding file of the green card.
