When people ask me what I am doing, I say that women with anxiety, diabetes, energy shortage will change their mood, change health, and help boost energy.
But we asked about giving women power. This is a wonderful trend. And even if I do, I can tell if I can give power to women through food.
This simple post touches on the physical health problems of women and the way food helps its prevention or reversal.
Are there serious concerns about women's eating habits?
Some of the major health concerns that concern for women are heart disease, cancer (lung cancer and breast cancer are the top 2), diabetes, hypertension, obstructive pulmonary disease, influenza and pneumonia, and kidney disease. Of course, there are others.
Among the above-mentioned diseases, those considered to be food-related are heart diseases, breast cancer, diabetes, and metabolic states of hypertension. All of these have been shown to be rooted in insulin resistance. It is my field of specialization to help women reverse these conditions in food and exercise, and I have the track record of doing so.
(Even colds and influenza may be regarded as food-related to the extent that food supports the immune system or derails it).
The health concern of pregnant women is autism of the baby. When the mother has one or more of the above metabolic conditions and / or high cholesterol, high triglyceride or polycystic ovary syndrome, the risk of autism is greatly increased.
Does a change in diet help reversal of metabolic status?
Most health information states that weight loss leads to reversal of metabolic status. And yes, I can lose weight, I definitely will help.
However, different ways of eating alone can cause changes in exercise - even before weight loss occurs?
My approach is focused on setting up metabolic changes of movement and sticking them. To the extent that women show that they eat insulin resistance and related diseases in a way to reverse it, I love that my work can give power to women and can give power to women.
